Takatori Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has continued its journey as a manufacturing enterprise for over 80 years since its founding in Yoshii-machi, Ukiha City, Fukuoka Prefecture. This legacy traces back even further—over 400 years—to the metal casting artisans of the Tachibana Domain in what is now Yanagawa City, forming a long-standing lineage of craftsmanship.

Building on the technologies and trust cultivated through this history, we remain committed to sincere manufacturing while continuously challenging ourselves to create new value.

At the core of our group is Takatori Manufacturing, working in close collaboration with TCAST Co., Ltd., Hawk Mechatronics Co., Ltd., Automize Lab Co., Ltd., and Hara Alloy Co., Ltd. Each company contributes its specialized expertise: TCAST and Hara Alloy in casting technologies; Hawk Mechatronics in machinery and equipment; and Automize Lab in automation and system development. Together, we form an integrated technological foundation that connects core capabilities—from casting to mechatronics control—enabling consistent value creation.

We extend these core technologies beyond the group through partnerships, promoting “co-creative innovation” that generates new value. In the maritime sector, we address critical social challenges—including decarbonization, labor reduction, safety assurance, and stable operations—by integrating the specialized strengths of each company into new, synergistic combinations.

Furthermore, we pursue both technological and broader societal value, including contributions to culture and the arts. By embracing serendipity, we actively explore new possibilities. We are also committed to identifying and developing the next generation of leaders who will shape the future of our organization.

By leveraging the strengths of each group company and integrating technologies both within and outside the group, we strive to create value that transcends conventional boundaries—this defines the vision of Takatori Group Holdings.

While cherishing our deep ties to our founding region, including Yoshii-machi in Ukiha City, we will continue to build on over 400 years of tradition as we take on new challenges toward the next century. With a unique management foundation—combining the flexibility of a privately held structure aligned with economic security considerations, the growth orientation of publicly listed operating companies, and the continuity of a family business—we aim to become a company admired and supported by people around the world.

Group companies

Guided by the principle of “dedication to a single industry,” we practice sincere and honest manufacturing.

Takatori Seisakusho was founded in 1944. Even amid the postwar turmoil, the company was established with the aim of securing work opportunities and building steady progress together with the local community living within view of Mt. Takatori. With this vision, the company began its journey and has continued its operations for more than 70 years in Yoshiimachi, Ukiha City (formerly Yoshii Town), at the foothills of Mt. Takatori in Fukuoka Prefecture.
This long-standing continuity is a testament to the trust placed in us by customers and suppliers who have supported our business over many years. We regard fulfilling this trust as the very reason we continue to dedicate ourselves to sincere and honest manufacturing.
Today, we provide marine component supply and repair services through our valve, strainer, and automation equipment businesses. While consistently focusing on the maritime sector since our founding, we continue to pursue growth strategies in response to the rapidly changing shipbuilding industry, aiming to contribute to the prosperity and peace of Japan as an enterprise committed to long-term development.

The core of material innovation supporting group quality

TCAST Co., Ltd. is a materials innovation company specializing in copper alloy casting, serving as the upstream core of the Takatori Group’s integrated manufacturing value chain.
With its origins in a casting tradition spanning more than 400 years—traced back to Hirai Kogyo Co., Ltd., the predecessor of Takatori Group Holdings—TCAST builds upon over 80 years of refined casting expertise developed within Takatori Seisakusho. Today, it forms the foundation of highly reliable components required for government marine valves and industrial equipment.
This technical heritage has been continuously advanced through the direct participation of skilled casting engineers and hands-on knowledge transfer in the production field. By combining traditional craftsmanship with digital analysis using 3D CAD and CAE simulation, TCAST embeds quality at the casting stage itself, enabling highly precise and stable product supply.
The company is also engaged in research and development of hydrogen-compatible materials, and through close integration with the group’s machining and assembly functions, it delivers a fully integrated production system that responds to increasingly diverse industrial needs.
As the starting point of the Takatori Group’s technological chain—from casting to mechatronic control—TCAST continues to support sustainable technological evolution.

Enabling simple automation by installing Valve Automizer® on manual valves

Most equipment and machinery used across various industries still requires manual operation. In the past, when customers sought to automate such systems, the conventional approach was to replace existing equipment entirely with new automated systems. This often resulted in high costs and long lead times, becoming a significant barrier to automation.
Automize Lab provides a unique “retrofit automation” solution, including the Valve Automizer® and Bot series, enabling existing equipment to be upgraded into automated systems without full replacement. Through these solutions, we address customers’ challenges in achieving practical and cost-effective automation.
